Meetings

For doing so, members of EUCC - PL will hold meetings with local community members and farmers in order to discuss the development and implementation of the Plan for the establishment of the ODNP. This will include interviews with the farmers on their needs and explanation of the benefits. These are needed to ensure the concepts within the plans and guidelines are owned by the locals. It does not intend to be a detailed truly operational document at this stage, but more an exercise of public participation and stakeholders involvement. It should be pointed out that EUCC - Poland already has built up a trust with a local farmers in selected areas where small-scale, sustainable farming is now taking place.

Natuurmonumenten and EUCC - IS will assist EUCC-PL on the preparations of such an exercise and the review of its results. The results will be distributed to regional and national agencies to demonstrate the benefits and possibilities of stakeholders involvement o the planning processes.
