The Biodiversity Conservation Center (BCC)
is a nonprofit, non-governmental organization working for restoration and
protection of pristine nature allover Northern Eurasia.
The BCC's main objectives are:
- designing and implementing various conservation programs and projects;
- providing methodological and consultative assistance to conservation initiatives,
green activists, staff of nature reserves, national parks and other protected
natural areas;
- promoting partnership between Russian and overseas environmental organizations,
coordinating their efforts in wild nature protection;
- developing efficient mechanisms of fundraising for nature conservation projects;
- improving management of protected natural areas and developing conditions
for sustainable livelihood of their residents
