Arrangement of conscripts'
training for ACS
The ACS in different conservancy structures requires appropriate qualifications
and various skills. Therefore RC for ACS will help organize primary voluntary
training courses for the conscripts. Among possible lines of training are:
forest-care (protection of forests, forest plantations, parks), sanitation
works (garbage removal, cleaning up polluted territories), inspection and
patrolling (including aerial-patrolling) of protected areas, conducting field
observations, etc.
Curriculum for the training courses will be designed in collaboration with
specialists. Besides, RC will make up a list of educational and profile organizations
on the basis of which conscripts may have training in above-mentioned areas.
The courses will be conducted by experts from the organizations concerned
(BCC, "House 28", MSU Nature Protection Corps, the Coalition etc.),
specialized conservancy agencies and educational institutions.
For successful adaptation of conscripts to a new sphere of activity all the
courses irrespective of their specialization will include fundamental studies
of the ACS legislation, elements of psychological training, introduction into
conservation problems. As a rule, lessons will include theoretical lectures
and practical seminars and trainings (including studies on the basis of the
field stations, seasonal camps, etc). It is possible that some specialties
will require outreach arrangements.
The conscripts who have successfully completed the course, will receive certificates
stating their qualifications. This document will facilitate for the conscript
the process of getting a job in accordance with acquired qualifications.
